Make a difference in the life of an adult who needs to improve
his or her literacy skills: become a volunteer tutor! Once you
indicate your interest, hear back from your local program, and
decide that this volunteer experience is for you, you can opt
to be trained by your local Library Literacy Services. After that,
you will be matched one-to-one or in a small group with adults
who need to brush up on their reading and writing skills. If you
love reading and want to share that joy, this is the job for you!
