Rules And Advantages:

Dress as your favorite cheater and receive the first letter of each word you spell.

Non-Team Member Admission is $10

Cheating rules:

• Hoodlum: $50 buys one letter
• Repeat Offender: $75 buys a second chance
• The Informant: $100 ask the audience
• Wire Fraud: $125 call a friend
• Conman: $150 look it up in the dictionary
• No Lo Contendre: $500 don’t have to spell anything
• Presidential Pardon: $5,000 advance to the final round automatically

Teams:

We have room for ten teams to compete at Spell Down Each team is to have 10 members with one of those members being the designated speller.

Each member of each team has a minimum fundraising goal of $100, so each team enters with a minimum of $1000. The more you raise, the more you can cheat!
Teams forfeit any balance at close of bee. It’s a fundraiser!

Spelling Bee Rules:

Each speller has one and a half minutes to spell the word correctly The speller can buy time for a fee of $25.00 per 30 seconds Webster’s 3rd International Dictionary: final authority
