California Health Literacy Initiative

Literacyworks and the National Institute for Literacy (NIFL), Region III Resource Center produced the Health Literacy Summit (HLS) in February 2008.

The new site is fully accessible, built according to web standards and hosts all of the presentations and summit proceedings.

Literacyworks is updating the site Multiple Intelligences, based on the theory of education developed by Howard Gardner.

Featured in How to Address Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom Tips and resources for putting MI theory into practice by Sara Bernard. This article was also published in the April 2009 issue of Edutopia magazine under the headline "Addressing Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom".
