NCLC (Northern California Literacy Coalition) serves the literacy needs of the Northern California region. Adults and families who choose to improve their literacy and language skills are served by the individual organizations within our coalition.

Library-based literacy programs offer free, individualized and confidential tutoring with trained volunteer tutors from the community. Some programs offer group programs as well. Many programs off GED preparation, English language learner classes, computer literacy classes, Workplace literacy programs, and family literacy programs.
